Why did you choose the Center?

It was my dream to study abroad, and I was lucky to have my older sister studying in the United States. So I decided to join her. Check out Roaa Farrash's profile here.

What did you learn through the program?

Before coming to the Intensive English Language Program, I did not know how to write paragraphs or essays in English. The IELP taught me. I also learned how to give presentations.

What advice would you give another student who is thinking about signing up for the program?

Stop thinking about it and sign up right away! You won't regret making this decision!

What are your plans for the future?

I want to become a programmer and someday I want to be self-employed. Temple is a great place to help me achieve that goal.

What has been your favorite experience at Temple?

Temple University is a diverse place and I love meeting not only Americans, but also people from all over the world.

What is your favorite thing to do in Philadelphia?

Going to my IELP classes because they were so much fun. Also, I love exploring the city. Philadelphia is filled with things to see.

What is your favorite food in Philadelphia?

I love cheesesteaks. If you are in Philly, you must try them!
