International Student Coffee Hour: South Korea

Discover and learn about South Korean culture through fun activities featuring Korean snack tasting, traditional Hanbok dressing, Korean language learning, “Hangul” calligraphy, a Taekwondo demo, and more! The event is in partnership with SouthGate Restaurant and Korean Cultural Foundation. Coffee, tea and cookies will be served.

Academic Performance, Academic Honesty & Your International Students:
How Do I Grade My International Students' Work? And Other Challenges

Explore strategies for grading international students’ work and helping them to understand academic expectations, including ones of academic honesty. Cocktail hour will follow the workshop.

International Movie Showing: Space MOMs

Join us in viewing the Indian film, Space MOMs, by Temple alumna Radha Bharadwaj. Space MOMs celebrates women who strive against all odds with the mission to land the first spacecraft on Mars. Reception with food and drink will follow.

Temple Lingo: A World Language Adventure

Come find out how learning a language can help you personally and professionally.  Travel around the room and practice languages from all over the world with native and fluent speakers.  No prior language learning experience necessary. Snacks, prizes, and resources will be available!

Global Gala

Join us once again for our student-run event that showcases the amazing range of diversity that Temple has to offer. The Gala will feature both traditional and modern performances, cultural activities, opportunities to get involved with student organizations, and lots of global cuisine. International students are welcome to wear traditional clothing from their home countries!
